Meune also wears a pair of bulky, white headphones, with yellow accents on the earpieces.Her top is the exact top that Megurine Luka wears in her V4x illustration, and her boots are extremely similar to that same outfit as well.Likewise, her skirt and sleeves are in the exact style of Hatsune Miku’s, in her V2 outfit specifically. The accents on the clothes that would’ve been cyan on Miku, have changed to match Meune’s hair color, and the same goes for the underside of her Luka-esc top.She also wears a black and gray striped bow high around her waist, similar to the bow on Megurine Luka’s dress in the song “Acute”.HistoryThe Piapro Characters SUPERPACK released on August 30, 2024, to extremely mixed reception. The biggest controversy surrounding this new product, however, was Megurine Luka’s voicebank in specific, which many people in the community had claimed sounded “exactly like Miku”.
Due to the rise discontent with Megurine Luka’s new “Miku-ified” sound, and how much dislike that had been accumulated surrounding the product, the idea for Meune Megarune was born.The previous context comes into play with Meune’s personality and design. Visually, she shares many qualities with Hatsune Miku as well as Megurine Luka herself. Her hair being in the shape of a “3” is a direct callback to the number three being in Megurine Luka’s codename (CV03), as well as “3” being the number tattooed on Luka’s right shoulder.Meune is also a huge fan of Hatsune Miku. She see’s Miku as the virtual idol she’s portrayed as in most forms of media she’s in. All she wants to do is perform for — or even with — her idol.
She wishes to sing as flawlessly as her idol one day.DebutMeune Megarune first debuted in a cover of Team MOER’s “Colorful x Sexy” (カラフル×セクシィ), on September 9th, 2024ParametersI use Megurine Luka SP with a -30 to -40 gender factor range, but if you don’t own Megurine Luka SP, other Luka voicebanks will do just as well.
The only reason I use Luka SP in specific is because of her ties to the whole “Luka SP = Miku NT” joke.
